Everything procurement and marketing teams want to know before their first order.
Do you have a minimum order quantity?
No. We produce from a single piece — there is no minimum order quantity and no setup fee. That means you can validate a new product with one unit before committing to volume. From 100 pieces per order you receive volume discounts of up to 40%.
If you ship directly to our customers, will they see any Glastrix branding?
No. All white-label shipments go out under your brand and your label — there is no Glastrix branding anywhere on the shipment. Client-branded packaging and inserts are also available on request.
What exactly is UV direct printing, and how is it different from film or sublimation printing?
With UV direct printing, the ink is cured directly into the surface of the material in a single pass — no film, no overlay, no sublimation. The ink becomes part of the substrate itself rather than sitting on top of it. This is what allows us to print directly on hard materials like glass, metal, and wood.
Which materials can you print on?
We print on glass, mirrors, wood, metal (steel and aluminium), copper, acrylic/plexiglass, ceramic tiles, canvas, and backlit panels. We also produce NFC business cards in bamboo, wood, metal, and PVC. If you are unsure whether your product works, we will run a free test print on the exact material — no commitment.
What's the largest format you can print?
We print up to 3.20 × 2 metres in a single seamless pass — no joints, no tiling. That covers large-format applications such as backlit panels, glass surfaces, and wall-sized pieces without visible seams. Some material restrictions may apply.
How fast can you produce once we place an order?
Production takes 48 hours after file approval. Because we produce in-house in Berlin, there is no offshore lead time — your order goes straight from approved file to production, assuming the chosen material is on hand.
How does your pricing work? Are there setup or tooling costs?
There is no setup fee. You pay per item, with volume discounts of up to 40% from 100 pieces per order. Pricing is quote-based — send us your product, quantities, and print files (we accept PDF, AI, PNG, TIFF, PSD, SVG and most standard print formats), and we will put together a concrete offer.
Can we see the print quality on our actual product before committing?
Yes. We offer a free test print on any material, with no commitment. You send us your design and, if needed, your substrate — we print it and you judge the result on the real product, not on a screen.
Can you ship orders directly to our end customers instead of to our warehouse?
Yes — that is our core B2B model. We produce and ship directly to your end customers under your brand. We adapt to your workflow: orders can come in by email, CSV export, API integration, or another format that works for your system. Shipments go via DHL at standard DHL business rates.
We're based in the EU but not in Germany — does ordering from you create customs issues?
No. We produce in Berlin, so for EU clients there are no customs complications — shipments move freely within the single market. We ship via DHL. International shipping outside the EU is available on request. We work in German and English.
We sell digital business cards — can you produce NFC cards under our brand?
Yes. We produce UV-printed cards with embedded NFC chips in bamboo, wood, metal, and PVC, and you resell them entirely under your own brand. Tapni, an NFC business card platform, is among the B2B clients we locally fulfil for. As with all our products: no minimum order, free test print.
